Lorne Gosick is the new small employer safety advisor for British Columbia. Gosick brings 24 years of experience from the forestry sector (11 years in harvesting and 13 years in manufacturing) to his new role as safety advisor. He has his OHS certificate and is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP). Lorne recognizes the challenges and hazards of small businesses as well as the sales and service end and would like to see all employers show up for the Small Employer Program Building Courses (SEPB) of which there are several throughout the province this year.

Andrew McKenzie became part of the team in January of 2011. Andrew has been in occupational health and safety for more than 13 years, working in the Lower Mainland and operations across Canada and the US. He has worked in a variety of different industries including construction (residential to heavy industrial), facility management safety, claims management, manufacturing, and as a Refit Safety Coordinator for B.C. Ferries.
