This is a unique initiative wherein the FIOSA - MIOSA Safety Alliance of BC is partnering with employers in the Abattoir, Non-Alcoholic Beverages, Poultry Processing and Smoked and Cured Meats industries in order to develop custom made products and services to address each industry's specific needs. The goal of the initiative is to improve their safety performance in order to bring it up to par with the rest of food processing.

The initiative also focuses on individual employers that want to improve their Health and Safety performance thereby reducing their WorkSafeBC premium rates. By partnering with the FIOSA - MIOSA Safety Alliance of BC, selected employers make use of FIOSA - MIOSA Safety Alliance of BC's GAP analysis and unique action plan implementation strategy to enhance their performance.
