Maureen Shaw Interviewed About BC Health and Safety Leadership Charter
Canadian HR Reporter Magazine last week interviewed Maureen Shaw about the new BC Health and Safety leadership Charter spearheaded by the FIOSA-MIOSA Safety Alliance of BC.
Maureen is President of Act Three Consulting, and the former President and Chief Executive Officer of IAPA (Industrial Accident Prevention Association). She has a long and respected history of leadership in health and safety in Canada and beyond.
She was instrumental in the organization and success of FIOSA-MIOSA’s Leading Performance CEO Conference in October of 2011 which led to the first ever BC Leadership Health & Safety Charter.
Shaw told HR Reporter the genesis of the BC Charter came from conversations between FIOSA-MIOSA's CEO Lisa McGuire and herself about the need for a charter similar to those created in other provinces like Ontario.
